Georgetown SFS school - Admission relative to general?

Hey guys, I’m planning on applying to SFS at Georgetown. With that being said - is there anything specific they look for for an application there that would make it harder than a general admission at G-town?

I have a 2300 SAT, have nice letters of rec, and am a good essay writer. I think I’ll apply RD. I’m also involved in a lot of leadership positions.

So is SFS a good choice? I know it’s not a safe bet by any means, but would it be significantly harder as compared to general?

Thanks!

Welp bump

I suggest you apply to the school where you have the most interest. The admission rates are pretty similar across each of the schools so there is no real advantage to be gained. If you are a strong applicant, you will be competitive no matter what, but given the highly selective nature of the University, there can be no guarantee of admission at any one particular school. Your best bet is to make sure your application is really strong and clearly expresses why you want to study in the SFS through your essays and EC’s. Good luck to you!
