wow, i came there and the thread was 2 pages longer! GT2 made me feel sick. But congratulations! the MSB's acceptance rate is like 30% + masta. And admissions are said to be mailed BY June 1st so I guess we should all be getting replies soon. Unless we're borderline and they'll need a HS transcript...like me. but I have a good feeling for all you guys, hope you get your replies soon

I applied to the college, for government...any idea what the acceptance rate for that is?

i'm not sure, but the college has a lower acceptance rate than MSB but a higher acceptance rate than SFS. that probably doesn't help very much though

on my acceptance letter it says they filled 200 spots (say they accepted like 270 maybe?) from an applicant pool of over 1450.

I don't understand how the letters can say the stats when only some of the decisions have been made yet. Eh, oh well. We'll all be finding out sometime soon!

I feel like last years admit % for the different colleges went something along the lines of MSB 30%, College 20-25%, SFS and SNHS 13% (the nursing program is lower because they have far fewer applicants and available spaces. I think last year they had 53 apps and space for 7-8)

hey GT2! on the acceptance did they indicate how many credit they will accept as transferable?

No mail today...<sigh> and the wait continues. :P</sigh>

Yeah. I think we are all starting to get nervous, like I said before. I called today and the lady on the other end told me that some letters are starting to trickle out.

~Matt

No letter here either :(

Edit: Did get an "offer" from Harvard Extension School (it just sounds bad!)

Why does it sound bad Helen? I'm not framiliar with the Harvard Extension Program..but, congratulations. :D

It's not the real thing Nikki, it's like an evening school so to speak. English courses, certificates, special training etc.

The Harvard Extension School offers part-time study in the evenings on an open enrollment basis. Its dynamic and challenging environment annually attracts more than 12,000 students of many ages from every New England state. They come from all walks of life and academic backgrounds, holding a variety of degrees--from doctorate to associate's--or no degree at all. Most Extension School students take one or two courses to learn something new or to enhance job skills. The varied curriculum also meets the needs of students who wish to complete unfinished degrees or begin study for new liberal arts or professional studies degrees, certificates, and diplomas.

Interesting. Did you apply there or did they just find you somehow?

They sent me an "offer" cuz I am a community college student, I think through the All-USA Academic Team program...

i got rejected from dartmouth today, which really bummed me out especially because i thought i really had a good chance. oh well... i think i would have gone to georgetown anyway its so much more fun in DC. i still have to hear from a whole bunch more schools, but as of now it looks like i'll be going to gerogetown!

bump. i liked this thread

did any of you who have been accepted receive some sort of id pin to be used on the internet or something what the RD students got. That way we could check on whether our decisions have been made yet
