Georgetown’s Office of Undergrad Admissions states that “a course in computer science is highly recommended” for “students interested in The McDonough School of Business.” Usually, highly recommended means it’s required. So does that mean if you don’t take comp sci in high school, don’t bother apply to their business school? Anyone get into the business school without taking computer science in high school?
No you’d be ok without it if you are otherwise qualified. I’m not in the MSB but I know plenty of people who are who didn’t take CS in high school. I would even guess that the majority didn’t. You don’t really need it for most of their curriculum anyway. (FYI same goes with some of Georgetown’s other ‘highly recommended’ requirements: people get in without the 3 SAT subject tests all the time.)
