Applying for Financial Aid?: No
Country: Hong Kong
School Type: International
Ethnicity: Korean but I am an American citizen
Gender: Female
Income Bracket: top
Hooks: I speak French, Chinese, English and proficient in Korean. I have two older sisters currently in Georgetown, and I know that they heavily account for legacy (38% acceptance for ppl with legacy) and I want to start a makeup company when I am older, so I am trying to have as many leadership positions as possible. I have a lot of extracurriculars and work experience as an intern. My parents also had dinner with the dean and planning to be apart of the parent board for Georgetown in Hong Kong, but I don’t know if that really helps.

Your ECs are great, but your stats are almost all average/below average, which can pose a problem. Depending on how well your ACT re-take goes, it may improve your situation, but none of the test scores are above average, and while it’s difficult to judge the rigor of your HS without further information, having your GPA be below the average of previous accepted applicants isn’t exactly great either. Your language skills will help, although I think languages are more effective in admissions for the SFS rather than the College. If you bring up the test scores, you’d have a chance, but considering how selective Georgetown’s EA is, I wouldn’t have very high expectations.
