I am a rising college junior who got accepted to both Georgetown and Wash U St. Louis for transfer admission and am having difficulty deciding between the two schools. I am a psychology major looking to leave a small liberal arts college (approx 1700 students). I want to go to a bigger school with a more well-known and respected name - one that will help me both in the job market and possibly get into a top law or arts and sciences grad school. I visited both campuses recently and it seems to me that, while both schools are very pretty, WUSTL has arguably one of the nicest campuses in the country and is much more impressive than Georgetown's. Georgetown, on the other hand, boasts a great town right outside the campus, and then there's obviously D.C. There seems to be a great deal to do in St. Louis, though. My question to all is what school will give me a better arts and sciences experiences/more respected psych degree? I am fairly torn between the two, and while I realize that I probably can't go wrong with either option, I am trying to figure out which choice will be BEST for me. Any/all comments about either school would be greatly appreciated.
