Georgetown

I have a 3.28 unweighted GPA, but my SAT score is 1440.
I have taken AP European History, this year I’m taking AP Lang, APUSH, AP Bio, and Honors Spanish.
Next year I plan on taking AP Lit, AP Gov, AP Macro, AP Comp Sci, AP Calc, and AP Physics.
I will be in school leadership for 3 years as fundraising commissioner, the president of Mock Trial and Model UN, and the Presidents of One Dollar for Life. I am also in Girls Who Code, and have won three hackathons, the congressional app competition, and made a camp to diversify tech for kids. Additionally, I worked in a law firm alongside a paralegal and will work at a startup over the summer.
Also, this summer I plan on taking courses to boost my GPA.
Even though my grades ar below, can I get into schools like Georgetown or University of Chicago with all the other accomplishments I have? I plan on being either a political science major, an English major, or and international affairs major.

Chicago and Georgetown both look at applicants holistically, meaning that one factor of your application cannot make a significant impact on your admissions decision. Although you have great accomplishments, your GPA is lacking, and GPA is arguably the single most important factor of your application. It is fine to apply to apply to some of these schools, but be sure not to make your college list reach heavy. Good Luck and add some safeties

Thanks so much! I’m definitely going to add a lot of safeties, but I now know it is worthwhile for me to apply.
