does anyone know if georgetown releases decisions earlier than their website claims? 2 of the 4 schools I applied to released their decisions 2-3 weeks early and I was hoping this is the case at GU.

People started getting theirs as early as May 5 last year.

did everyone receive confirmation of the receipt of their georgetown apps...and do we check online/email or do they mail us ?

I haven't received a confirmation.

i didn't receive anything. i think they just mail us a letter for our decision.

i got a confirmation

I didnt get jack. I called though, and they said they got it.

I haven't got anything either...I also called and they said My app was there.

I wonder if I should walk in the admissions office tomorrow to check on decisions.

Ironically, the sophomore deans were actually reviewing applications on one day last week.

Edit: By sophomore deans, I mean deans that are in charge of students in the sophomore class. So they are probably checking on... sophomore transfers! (Surprise, surprise.)

Edit 2: And about the deans I know, there is no need to worry. They are very laid back, friendly, and welcoming individuals. I do hope for your sake that they act in the same manner toward your applications.

I think that wouldn't be a bad idea nspeds...check up on where they are in the whole process... eta - only if you can.

I called to check if mine was complete, and they said they couldn't tell me over the phone, but if your application is incomplete you will be mailed a letter telling you so.

I do not know. The College is usually the most popular, since one can also transfer from there to the SFS even as a transfer student and since it offers the most majors.

How hard is it to transfer from MSB to College or SFS - and is that possible after only one semester at Gtown ?
