@futurecivilguy14 When you are applying from a competitive country like India, your chances may be slightly lower. A huge factor for your admission would be your need for financial aid. If you do not need financial aid, you will have a hand above other applicants who need aid.

Got email from admissions today, looks like they have finished the review of all applications. Email indicates that results will be out on 9th Jan at noon EST, and for those of you who applied to ED elsewhere and got in, the email has a link to withdraw your Tech application…i wonder how many of those would be there who got ED and are no longer interested in Tech.

They emailed me about decision on 9th Jan a while ago. Today i just received another one

@desiindian597 - my son is one who is withdrawing as he got in ED elsewhere.

Nice! Where did he get in?

Cornell - nice to have it all wrapped up. Good luck to you guys!

.

Could someone chance me real quick? (International, no financial aid)

Chamber choir/Acapella-joined only in senior year, I didn’t know I had a voice.
Essay: It was pretty good
Recommendation: From Math teacher, he said “I’m a stellar student”.

Do you guys think I could get into tech with these stats??

I’m going to withdraw as well. Got in to Emory last night. Best of luck to all of you!

can anyone post the class of '19 thread link?

Congratulations to @Suzima & @ismitah!!

@anotherdude , they just look at your GPA on your transcript. Thqts how they evaluate it. If your transcript has a 3.7 or above, then that’s good for tech. They wont sit and recalculate the GPA.

Bump…(Could someone chance me)!!!

@chintu98 - I like your stats for GT but I’m not sure what effect, if any, your international status has. It helps that you don’t need aid.

Hope somebody else chimes in for you. Good luck!
