***Georgia Tech Class of 2020 EA Applicant Thread***

I will call right now and cite for u guys

That has to be glitch in their system. Plus we hadn’t seen that link before.

Kathy R. Undergraduate rep discussion:

Me “hi, I have had people tell me that decisions for undergrad come out Nov 2nd. Is this true?”

Kathy R. “that is incorrect. There is a broken link in our system. Transfer decisions for spring will be out on Nov 2 only. Please let people who think that Nov 2nd is the decision know that it is incorrect. Decisions will be out January 9th”

Me. “thank you so much! I was about to get a heart attack”

Kathy. “haha, no problem. Good luck and ramble on”

Me. Thinking - uhh…

Call.ends.

Oh and wondering when I called? 2:38, October 30. 2015

@CHCollege123 I believe my profile is complete, yes.

Okay…Thanks guys!

The mydecision link for my S also says November 2. Very odd. Just a glitch, but it’s been there all week.

Does anyone know what act scores GA Tech will be using for admissions? On buzzport it only shows my math and english scores. I had a 30 composite with a 25 in sci, so im hoping they just look at math and english

I called GA Tech and they said that decisions will be out only in January…

Last year the website said GT only looked at the English, Math, and English/Writing parts of the ACT, is this still true for this year?

Yeah, everything but science

so are they looking at reading this year too? they didn’t in the past

I also applied to EA just for fun, if i get deferred, ill apply again RD

Yes, reading too.

You don’t have to apply again for RD, you automatically get put in the RD pool if deferred from EA. If put into RD, you just have the option of providing additional supplements, such as midyear report with better grades, better test scores, etc

@LemonTwenty If you’re talking ACT, no. That’s why it doesn’t appear on Buzzport.

buzzport is pretty vague, all i saw was that they accept SATs and ACTs

I’ve heard multiple things on what Georgia Tech is considering in terms of ACT. But when I check buzz port, all I see is that only the Math, English, and Combined English/Writing scores are there. No reading and no science.

my scores were added to buzzport today and all 4 of sections plus the composite and writing scores are listed

At a GT info session it was stated they try to keep a class roughly 60% Georgia, 30% from OOS and 10% International. You can see Class of 2019 profile details here:
