***Georgia Tech Class of 2020 Regular Decision Applicant Thread***

@Nevets04 That’s kind of dumb. What happens if I change it now? Will the timer reset back to 30 days?

Is it every 30? I thought it was every 90… whatever it is don’t let it expire DS did that once and it was kind of a pain to reset.

@MichiganGeorgia I agree with you. I think it is every 90 days, at least that is what happened with my account…

Did anyone get a change in their portal from “file under review” to something else?

My son’s still says “file under review”. Has yours changed yet?

@bahiablue No, not yet! I guess they just leave it saying that for everyone even if it is no longer under review… Hmm… Maybe we’ll see some changes this week. I mean, decisions come out in less than 2 weeks

@ThatGirlCoder Yea, I’m pretty sure decisions are made and they are getting everything ready to go out. Good luck to you!

@ThatGirlCoder @bahiablue It will still say “File Under Review” until they update Buzzport with the decisions

Ok thanks @ifizzle321

@bahiablue Good luck to your son as well!

guys i am really nervous about the decision.I want to study industrial engineering here so badly.
My act composite is 27
English-26
Math-34
I heard they consider only act math and english.I know I will get into virginia tech but getting into georgia tech is a perenial accomplishment.

@Srijith97 All we can do now is wait. I too am an international, but I’ve applied for computer science. Very nervous now that there are less than two weeks left now. So far I’ve gotten into Purdue. Let’s see how it goes

8 more days!!

@Srijith97 no worries. That math score is veryyyy high, like wow!!! Fingers crossed for everyone here

@QuadiNorth 8?? I thought it was 6! I thought they said the 12th

Ok I just checked my email, it’s Saturday the 12th. SIX MORE DAYS!

Does anyone know what time the decisions will be released?

EA decisions were released at noon EST. I suspect RD will be the same.

Just making sure, we don’t have to upload financial aid materials for Regular Decision, right? I uploaded a couple of things, but other things haven’t been processed yet, but I’m pretty sure the deadline is sometime in April.

edit: nvm read the question wrong!
