***Georgia Tech Class of 2022 EA Applicant Thread***

@GaelRacer, thanks for the link! Best resource ever. Now I wonder if every college has a similar report hidden somewhere …

I checked my D’s status page and we are able to see her SAT and ACT scores.

Thank you for sharing that…that is so cool

Does anyone know what time (EST) the decision comes out this Saturday?

@TheGreatApple32 noon ET

For PST folks it’s around 9:00 A.M

On @gtadmission on Twitter they said yesterday that they estimate the in-state admission rate for EA this year is 46%.

23 hours guyyys, who’s ready??

Buzzport account changed!

just check my buzzport account, under “admission” application status, nothing in there, in the morning, there are still some information, but now all are gone!. any explanations?

application portal changed too:

Decision Release Notice

Early Action admission decisions will be available:
Saturday, January 13, at 12:00 PM ET

Once your decision is available, select “View Update” below (note: this option will not appear until January 13 at noon).

Hey @darthraider I was just wondering where you saw that on their Twitter page. I looked and I could not find that stat. I might just be missing it completely though haha.

Does anyone know if GT admits people into the summer session during the EA round? Or is it just RD?

GT admits students in the summer session during the EA round.

I should probably know this but a quick search is not finding the information on GT website. When they release acceptance decisions tomorrow will they also give awards for merit scholarships such as the stamps presidential scholarship?

@kevbostic I believe those start coming out after the 13th. I feel like January 26th sticks out in my mind for Stamps but I’m not 100% sure about that date.

Jan 16th

Good luck tomorrow, everyone!

Last year they said noon, but really released the scores around 11 am.

@mreus10 here is the link to that statistic. They estimate the EA admit rate this year is 46% for in-state and 25% overall

The link actually wont post, but they tweeted it yesterday at 7:16 AM. Go to Tweets & replies and scroll down.
