Georgia Tech Early Decision Stats

Just wanting to see what other people received as well as their related stats. Here’s what I got:

Gender: Female
Race: Asian

GPA:
3.89 weighted, 3.80 unweighted
as of 2018, second semester (my school runs on block scheduling, so i technically completed courses as of dec. which were calculated into this recent gpa). I believe I applied with a 3.694

SAT:
Best: 1330
Superscore: 1330
670 Read/Writ 660 Math

ACT: (what I think saved my application)
33 Composite, 31 math 34 science
ELA 32

My essay about “why tech” was very strong, and my second essay was solid.

I applied to the LMC (Lit, media, communication) program, which is under the Liberal Arts college, and received an Arts & Sciences Pathway Program transfer. It’s basically a conditional transfer but specific to my intended major classification.

I know some people balk at a deferment or cond. transfer, but personally I’m quite pleased, because at least I am guaranteed a slot. (From a GA Tech webinar on this specific transfer: “If you’ve met the requirements etc., then this is a secure path to acceptance at GA Tech”).

Please post your results in response if you see this, just for curiosity’s sake.

Rejected.
ACT 35 ELA 35 Math 34 Science 36

All AP classes this year. Last year AP score 5 for literature. College credit engineering class highest score given for college credit. Private rigorous school and courseload.
Out of state. First essay written. Okay. The subsequent essays much better. Average amount of EC’s. Leadership in 2 EC’s and leadership in volunteer activity. Heavier on volunteering. Working a summer job
Not sure what they were looking for.
