Georgia Tech International Transfer

Hey guys,

I’m an Industrial Engineering student in my home country looking to transfer to Georgia Tech in Spring 2018. I have a 4.0 GPA and I have taken tons of classes, however, I’m worried about the English requirements as my university is not English based. How can an international student complete those 2 English classes to satisfy the courses requirements and transfer to GAtech?

Also, do I have to stick to my major or can I apply to CS?

Pd: I’ll be studying for a semester in a Canadian University before enrollment, will that affect my chances of transferring to GAtech?

Thanks

Its really clear that your TOEFL score may matter some but you must take two classes in English before
you try to transfer into Georgia Tech. Can you sign up for two English classes at your Canadian University?
Also College of Computing is very crowded, I think they take fewer transfers than other majors, but try to find out about that. As I remember you do need to declare a major to transfer.

Most universities in all countries offer classes in English. So English 1, English 2, etc. Take English as a World Language at whatever university you attend.
