<p>I was wondering if any student at georgia tech knows whether there are any power outages, spikes or blackouts that occur at georgia tech? (I am thinking about buying a ups)</p>
<p>None last year. If there is an outage, its usually building specific for some sort of maintenance work (my dorm had one).</p>
<p>UPSs are totally useless if you ask me, especially if you use a laptop which has its own battery.</p>
