Georgia Tech vs. UT Austin for Environmental Engineering

So, basically, I've been accepted to Georgia Tech and UIUC so far. I'm also waiting on a reply from UT Austin, and have been thinking about where to go if I get in.

I've read other similar threads before and I know that these three schools are all closely ranked for undergraduate programs in environmental engineering. So, I'm not entirely worried about the academics at school.

From what I've heard, Georgia Tech isn't the most sociable university, and it's more studious and engineering centered compared to UT Austin.
I, personally, want to be make friends from different majors and backgrounds as well as have a social life. I'm not huge on partying or drinking, but I also want a fun college experience.
I was wondering whether students at Georgia Tech mix with those at other nearby universities like UGA, and whether, if I were to attend Georgia Tech, I would meet people there as well, rather than just the engineering crowd.
The only reason I'm not completely sold on UT Austin at this point is because I feel that Georgia Tech is a bit more prestigious as a university and that I will have better chances at getting a job after graduation from Tech rather than Austin.
Any ideas?
And if I were to attend Austin instead, I was hoping to maybe apply for graduate studies at Georgia Tech. Does anyone have any idea about the competitiveness of trying to get into graduate engineering programs at Georgia Tech?

Also, can anyone please tell me how the dorms are? Or at least post a link to a video of some dorms maybe?

Sorry for the long post. Thanks in advance!
