i have an overall unweighted 3.14 GPA for freshman, sophomore and junior year. i got a 2050 on the SAT and 31 on the ACT. A lot of extracurricular activities, a summer internship, and an internship during the school year. I am looking forward to maintain a 4.0 GPA in my senior year so when my midyear report card gets mailed it shows how much i have approved. i know georgetown early action program doesn't reject an applicant, therefore i wanna apply and georgetown is my first choice. what are my chances of getting in if i obtain a 4.0 GPA in my senior year and have a good essay etc. i know i'll be denied as an early action but still have another chance for regular decision. any recommendations?my courseload in senior year is hard. i am taking 1 AP class, 2 G/T classes, 2 honors class, 1 regular class and aiding for a teacher. please explain i am really worried...georgetown is my first choice /

1 AP class senior year isn’t rigorous at all. A lot of kids take 5 APs senior year. To be honest, you have a very, very slim chance of acceptance and would bank on a deferral then denial if I were you. A 3.14 is way too low for a school like Georgetown.

so what are u trying to say? i should take more AP classes? i know 3.14 is very low…
