Gettin' Jiggy with USABO Studying

Sup Fellow CC'ers,

As many of you know, the Open Round for the 2013 USABO Competition is going to start soon and I just figured out that the test is actually quite difficult. Apparently we were supposed to read the whole Campbell book? I was unaware of that...I'm F*****! I was wondering if it would be ok if I just read the powerpoints/notes of the Chapters instead of reading the chapters? Will notes/powerpoints suffice to pass the Open round? That's all I am worried about. I just want to pass the Open round. If I pass, I'll definitely read the whole book thoroughly. I will also take practice tests and also memorize all the charts/graphs and the glossary.

Thanks for your comments! Have fun studying Biology!

C’mon guys! I see views but no replies. :(

I think that it would be very difficult to comprehend and memorize all the powerpoints in the limited amount of time that we have to the open. Plus there will be many details that will be overlooked in the powerpoint that may appear on the open- anything in Campbell’s is fair game.
