Getting a C in senior year first semester

So I've never gotten a C before and I just got my first one in AP Comp Sci. I have a feeling that schools are going to look at that and think I slacked off, which really wasn't the case. Comp Sci simply didn't click for me. I do well in other math and science classes but just not this.

Does anyone have an idea of how much this will hurt me?

It depends on the caliber of the school and your intended major.

What schools did you apply to?
Have you already been accepted?

I applied to the Ucs, umich, nyu, Cmu, and WUSTL under engineering. These are all regular decision. So based on what you guys are saying, it’s not gonna be good?

As long as your overall GPA is still high, there shouldn’t be too much of a problem. It may catch their attentions at first but they won’t look too much into it if your other grades are good. And it is an AP class so they will take into consideration that you challenged yourself with a not-so-common class.
