Getting a Master's while abroad

..Is it worth it? I'll be an undergrad next fall studying Russian, Arabic and Hebrew at college. My degree will be in a language most likely, with an Arabic certificate (it's not offered as a major).

I'm wondering what the value is of going to graduate school in, say, Israel (at TAU's school for Overseas Students) and getting a Master's degree in Middle Eastern Studies if I want to work for the US government/agencies in an area related to the Middle East/terrorism? (and I don't mean cost, it's just about the same as programs here)

That entirely depends on the program. Is it a good program with a good reputation in the field? Then probably. In most cases, though, it’s a better idea to get a university degree in the country in which you wish to work, especially if you want to work for the feds.

As a side note, you haven’t even started college yet. Figure out what you want to do first and then when you’re a junior you can start to contemplate these issues.
