How competitive to get into Michigan Engineering Program if in-state? Is there a minimum cut-off for ACT science and math (>32?)?

no. Engineering is almost the same as LSA. For in-state, you should get around 30 and 3.85 to get in to CoE. Also, take a lot of hard science and math courses. It'll help.

what about out of state?

what's your gender? although they don't admit it, i heard they take your gender into consideration. i don't think it'll hurt if you're male, but they only do have 24% female undergrad.

are you applying this year as well? apply early! i'm hoping to have my application submitted within the next 1.5-2 weeks :)

male. I am also applying early

I don't think it's because they prefer males

sorry forgot to quote

what do you think a good act score would be for out of state

no i wasn't saying they prefer males, i was saying that they want more females/may more easily accept them since their percentage is so low.
