I'm heading into the Spring semester at the College of Engineering studying Electrical Engineering and am very interested in getting an internship over the summer. What are the resources available to me? I have prior experience with interning at Carnegie Mellon Robotics Institute and a decent resume/grades.
Thanks.

check the Career Center, Virtual Job Board, iLink

theres also a pretty nifty site called internmatch.com where you can look for internships by city and or profession

As an engineer, finding an internship won’t be too too hard but as a freshman it may be a little hard to find one

i would be very very very suprised if you get an internship. they’re very few freshman who get internships. you’re obviously not as highly skilled as sophomores juniors and seniors. you haven’t taken the courses that would be needed or that jobs would like to see you take before they offer you an internship.

@Kish93 - Thanks for the cool website!

@illinifan - That’s what they told me when I applied to CMU’s internship programs. I ended up spending 2 summers working on the LunarBotics Competition with PHD students at the Robotics Institute. As long as they judge skill not age, I think I’ll be fine haha.
