Getting back on track

Im in my 6th semester of failing classes at university, and I dont really know what to do. I have about 70 passing credits with a gpa of 1.98. Im still in the process of working on the depression and panic which is the main cause of all this, but what do i do when Im done? Right now Im in the process of my second mental health withdrawal, and I dont know whether to just withdraw from the semester or completely from the school. I know that I dont want to be at my university anymore, but I dont really know where I can go. Can I still go to a community college and transfer, or is it too late? I ultimately want to be a historian, and if Im going to get into a good graduate school, getting a degree from a community college isnt going to cut it. This has been a reocurring frustration throughout college; I hate my school, but my grades are bad so no decent schools are going to want me. Ive tried to stick it out for the name brand degree, but that obviously isnt working. I dont want these few years to ruin my chances of reaching my goals in life, but I just dont know where to go from here.

6 semesters of this pattern is, unfortunately, going to make getting back on track difficult.
You can try asking a professor to write you a letter of recommendation explaining your circumstances and apply somewhere else, but I would wait to attend until your problems have been resolved. Best of luck!

You have to have at least a 2.5 GPA to get into any graduate school.
