Hi,

Are the book lists for classes supposed to be posted on the student link or should I just go by the barnes and nobles site? In other words, do I wait for the book lists to be posted on the student link, if they even will be?

Hi,

Are the book lists for classes supposed to be posted on the student link or should I just go by the barnes and nobles site? In other words, do I wait for the book lists to be posted on the student link, if they even will be?

It’s always posted on the B&N website. If you get there using the link on your Studentlink, the list will be personalized for you and you won’t have to search for the books manually.

Are the used books that are available to you from the barnes & noble site all checked to make sure no pages are missing and are acceptable to use?

I have a question regarding books too actually…

I’m transferring from a school where the instructors prefer that you wait until you have the syllabus in hand (from the first day of class) before buying books. Any chance classes at BU are like this, or do they expect you to have books before the first day of class? Thanks in advance.

Thatanos: I would think so because B&N’s used books are way more expensive than used books online.

eddy4188: I always wait until classes start to buy books. Sometimes the book is only ‘recommended’ for your own further reading, so you don’t have to buy it.
