Getting into business or international relations schools with no related ECs?

This doesn’t really apply to me but I’m personally just wondering if it could be done. All my ECs are mainly STEM, but I also have interest in politics as well as finance even though I don’t really intend to pursue them as a career. Maybe if I have a sudden change of heart I’ll pursue these interests but right now I’m just wondering if I have that liberty considering my current activities.

Though many business or IR colleges like to see demonstrated interest and dedication to EC’s in their fields, it’s definitely not mandatory. Now, if you’re applying to Wharton, the supplement will ask you what your intellectual pursuits will be at Wharton, so make sure you have a good idea of what you want to do in politics or finance before you apply.
