Getting into college pharmacy program

Hi! Here's some backup info -I am a rising senior at a private high school. I am extremely involved. I play 2 sports and am captain of my lax team. I did track for 2 seasons. I'm in 4 clubs and have served as historian and Vice President for student council. I am in NHS and a peer minister. GPA is a 3.78 I also do volunteer and work and a few other things I left out. But overall I am a great student:)

My dream school is a private college with a new pharmacy program. The school is about 45000 a year but they are very generous with financial aid(friend went here)

So here's my issue i am 100 points away from the sat minimum score to be considered. I have taken the sat in March 2013. November 2013, March 2014 and June 2014. The only time I didn't study was the first time. I did a local private tutor for like 15 hours for the November. The March one I did a 12 prep course at my scho. For June I did a private prep class at a tutoring center that cost 1500+ and my score increased only ten points. On my own I rented every sat prep book from two libraries and kept doing problems I probably did 3 hours for a month before the test like this.My highest superscore is a 1610:(

I can get into my college and do 3 years and reapply to get into the pharmacy school but I would prefer to get in out of high school.

If I get in out of hs I will get a bachelors, masters and pharmacy d compared to just the pharm d if I apply when I am in college.

Also I am nervous that I wouldn't get good scholarships since my SATS are low but I have lot of ec, volunteer and leadership.

Please give me some advice:) thank you!!!

Oh and please don’t offer other colleges because their are only 2 in my state and I did not like the other one. And I want to stay instate

Obviously, you are handicapping yourself. Something has to give, OP. Not only can you not get into the pharmacy school but you don’t think you’d get the aid you’re counting on.

It isn’t going to be the SAT score, it seems, although plenty of people will tell you that if you tried their method they could get you 100 points. So that leaves what? the in-state req? the pharmacy right out of high school?

Flexibility is a skill you must learn, little by little. Seems like you’re going to start to learn it. The dilemma you’re in right now is a dilemma of your own creation. You can get yourself out of it. You just don’t want to.

I don’t think I will get the aid I want because my Sat and acts are low and does not correlate to my gpa.

How can I get myself out of this issue? I have studied so much for the SAT and had no improvement in all 3 sections.
