I'm a junior is high school and I'm really interested in becoming a pharmacist. I was looking into one of the programs right out of high school, however, I don't know if I'm smart enough :( I took my first SAT in March and did terribly (1560: 570CR, 500W, 490M). I just took my second SAT on Saturday (I think I did better in the multiple choice but I royally *****ed up my essay). I'm taking my 3rd SAT in June and my first ACT the week after. I just starting to doubt myself after looking at other pharmacy posters that had scores that seem impossible for me. I used to think that I was smart but maybe I'm wrong. I'm pretty well-rounded and taking Honors/APs this year. So please, what pharmacy programs, if any,do you think I could get into? I live in PA so really want to stay close. Also, if you don't think pharmacy is right for me, what other science/health field careers do you suggest? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

USP: Aim for 26+/1800+ (I don’t think USP puts that much weight to the writing score)

USP = University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, right?

Yes, I gave you a verdict for the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. You said that you wanted to stay in Pennsylvania but even at 26+/1800+ your GPA still matters.

Even so, please consider shadowing a pharmacist.

Well my GPA is a 94.45/100 (I have no idea if it’s weighted or unweighted) and I’m shadowing pharmacist at independent pharmacy this summer.
