Getting into full classes/info on SIS 433

<p>I wasn't able to make the registration and I have been stalking the course enrollment website for these past few days but it looks like I'm just going to have to go to the first day of class and hope for an add code. Is it hard to get add codes or do people frequently drop? I want either MUSIC 116 or DRAMA 101. I need an easy class so that I can focus on CSE 143 and Math 126.</p>

<p>Also does anyone know if SIS 433 (Environmental Degradation in the Tropics) is a difficult class? I took it seeing as how nothing else interested me and there are so few choices now. I'm probably going to switch it out if I have a chance to get into MUSIC 116 and DRAMA 101. Thanks for the help guys.</p>

<p>Have you taken Music 185 yet? I would take that class over Music 116 as I heard that Music 116 is not fun at all. Plus you have to pay like $100 for textbooks. In Music 185 you don’t have to buy any textbooks and there is only one class a week with loads of extra credit and is the easier 4.0 class</p>

<p>Thank you so much for that recommendation :slight_smile: I’ll probably attend the first day of class for that too hoping for an add code. But once again does anyone know if its hard to get an add code of a full class? I know in Psych 101 last quarter it wasn’t too bad but I know MUSIC is fairly popular and it might be competitive. Thanks for all your help!</p>

<p>Not very sure about how hard it is to get in but if you want a music class the time schedule right now has Music 162 with 1 spot open. That is supposed to be a fairly easy class as well. Also, Arch151 (3 credit VLPA) is supposed to easy as well but it is full atm, keep checking that.</p>

<p>After a lot of stalking I was able to secure a position in both MUSIC 116 B and MUSIC 162 A but I don’t think I’ll be able to handle both classes along with my Math 126 and my CSE 143. Does anyone know which class is easier? I’m pretty sure MUSIC 116 should be considering its only 2 times a week vs MUSIC 162 which is every single day at 8:30 in the morning but I just want some opinions. Thank you so much guys for all your help :)!</p>

<p>Both are fine choices but also keep looking for openings in Music 185 and Music 120 if you want easier music VLPA credit.</p>

<p>I can’t take Music 120 because theres a prereq and Music 185 doesn’t fit into my schedule. After a lot of thought I think I’m gonna go with dropping Music 126 and keep Music 116. Does anyone have any useful tips for Music 116? thanks guys :)</p>

<p>Music 116 isn’t bad… if you know the material already. It’s pretty simple stuff, but I could see it getting VERY frustrating for someone with no musical experience.</p>
