Getting into Ivy League with upward trend

I’m currently in 10th grade. In 7th and 8th, I took high school level classes and got a gpa of 4.07W/4.0UW. But my freshman year (2.98W) and sophomore year (2.0W) weren’t good years for me due to certain circumstances. But, over the summer and throughout the year, I can retake my freshman and sophomore classes, if I retake them all and do well, I can bring my freshman gpa up to a 4.18W/4.0UW and my sophmore grade up to 3.9/W/3.7UW. I’m gonna take mostly AP classes Junior and Senior Year, If I can get all A’s in all these classes, and ace my SAT & ACT. How likely is it that I can get into an ivy league such as Columbia? Or what can I do to make up for my freshman and sophomore year?

Can’t speak for certain elite east-coast schools, however i have heard that Stanford doesn’t look at your Freshman year.

will those new gpas (4.0 and 3.7) be the ones officially reported on your transcript? as in, will colleges see your 2.98 and 2.0 at all?

Depends on the circumstances, but likely not. You’ll need to pick up your UW to at least a 3.5+ to have any sort of chance. The only exception would be if the circumstances were super extreme (e.g. I had a downwards trend in my junior year due to a divorce and a lot of child abuse, but my UW is still a 3.8 so I should be okay)
