Getting into the Berk

k....I was pretty terrible in highschool.......like 1.3, and i had to go to adult school for a month after i was supposed to graduate in order to get my diploma. My girlfriend on the other hand is not a deadbeat...She attends the Berkeley school of engineering and has told me that there is still hope. i have heard myths and legends of people like myself going through their local community colleges and still transferring into berkeley!....Now i understand that this would be a serious undertaking...what would the requirements be to even qualify for that?...if even possible...I know a perfect GPA in cc, many hours of community service, a damn good reason why I did so badly in hs (essay), plus the prerequisites in language, math, etc.....my goal is to major in biology and either go to med school or vet school.....or architecture....idk yet...any ideas, criticism, etc. will be very helpful, thank you.

I’m scared of your GPA in high school. I want to say it’s possible through the CC system but you’re really going to need to put the effort in. You probably have bad work habits from high school. Have your girlfriend help.

darn k, good point. i will do my best to walk the walk…with my girlfriend holding my hand of course…jk, but I have worked a hard, full-time job for only minimum wage and that was definitely something to keep me inspired to do well. I have seen the value of higher education and i would like to pursue my own to the full extent, thanks.
