Hello
So I just finished grade 10 and I’m wondering what grades I’ll need in grade 11 & 12 to be able to get into UofT, McGil and UBC in a biology/biochem/life sciences type program. My marks in grade 10 were okay. I got 95 in math pre-AP, 90 in Chemistry 20 AP (It’s a grade 11 course, I just did it in grade 10), 89 in social studies pre-AP and 87 in English pre-AP. If my marks stay the same, will I be able to get in to the unis I want? Also what courses should I be taking apart from the obvious ones (like calculus, physics, bio, chem). Thanks
I don’t know about the other schools, but I know that McGill is very straightforward about their grade requirements for each of their programs.
It says a 76% average is the minimum but that doesn’t really help me because I hear stories of people with 87% averages not getting in. So like what are the competitive averages for these schools??
If you are Canadian the minimum for life sciences at McGill is 93% according to that table, unless you want to study agriculture at the Macdonald campus.
Okay thanks! I guess I just didn’t see it
