getting into UCF

I am a Junior in Highschool. My unweighted gpa is 3.8 and weighted is 4.2. I dont know what it is but when it comes to major tests i do average at best. My sat scores are
reading-450
math- 530
writing-470

UCF is really the only school i want to go to. I am planing on taking the act's to but do you think this is enough or what else should i do.

According to their common data set ([UCF - Common Data Set 2009-10](http://www.iroffice.ucf.edu/commondataset/commondataset09/commondataset09.html)) the SAT is very important. Your scores don’t even hit the 25% level. Unless you are a 350 lb lineman you need to retake them and probably try the ACT as well. With your grades I would expect you to do well on the ACT.

Grades do not indicate reasoning ability which the SAT tests, you can improve grades easily with better work habits, while the SATs test the speed and precision in which you can answer questions. Try the ACT it might be more suited towards you.
