Getting into University Of Michigan?

Hey, can anyone predict my chances of getting of UofM with the following credentials:

GPA: 3.8(with ap classes)
ACT:Unknown(getting results next week, hopefully a 30+)
EC: sports, National Honors Society, a school club

I'm hoping to get into the Engineering program there.

Thanks for the help.

Very competitive major.
U Of C: match (better pray that your ACT is 30+)

UMI: Match (at 30)

If you’re in state I think your in for sure. I applied to their non-binding early admission this year and was accepted with similar stats. I am out of state.

What do you mean your GPA is a 3.8 with AP classes? If you mean that your GPA is weighted, you should know that Michigan looks at your unweighted GPA and course rigor as two separate factors.

It’s extremely difficult for us to give you an honest evaluation of your chances without much more information. That said, getting into Michigan Engineering (or any other college in U-M for that matter) is quite difficult. To give you some stats, Michigan Engineering’s average accepted unweighted highschool GPA is a 3.9 with an average ACT of 32.

Good luck!
