Getting into UWB CSS: Problems with Calc II

I'm going to apply for UWBs CSS program soon, but I don't know if I can get in. I have pretty good grades in my pre-reqs (4.0 in intro cs class, plus a possible recommendation from the professor, and Calc I, 3.5+ in both writing classes) But my Calc II grade is horrible despite having taken it in High School, and twice at UWB (the first time we had this professor that failed half the class). I only got like a 2.8 in Calc II and I don't understand why it's so much harder than Calc I. My overall GPA is only a 3.1. I haven't applied yet but I feel like my chances are kind of bad because of my overall GPA and the fact that Calc II has been trolling me forever (in high school I got 100% in the first semester which centered on derivatives and limits, but got trolled the second semester and only got a C+ because of Integrals...)

Bump… need some feedback please

What kind of feedback do you want? Honestly, I think you have a decent chance, but your record with Calc II is off putting. I think you should talk to the advisors about it, and you should definitely apply (the worst thing that can happen is that you don’t get in).

Have you taken Calc III?

Chat with the advisors. They may ask you to retake Calc II and reapply.
