Hi everyone!
I really have my heart set on going to Wharton, because a family friend of mine had such a good experience and has ended up extremely successful. Right now, though, I'm really skeptical as to whether I'll actually make it, because my school isn't exactly one of the smartest and until this year, not that many people made it to ivy leagues. I'm a sophomore, soon-to-be junior.
Does anyone have any advice on getting into Wharton, or any good college in general?
Right now, my application/ high school experience is based a lot on:
-academics, which are fairly decent even though I got a few B+'s my freshman year. Right now, I think I'm in the top 5%, though it honestly depends on next year.
-leadership: class council treasurer, officer in enviromental club (hopefully prez next year!); also got a few leadership awards from this club and running for assistant editor of a local newspaper
-music: play violin- I'm not that good, but my quintet has played in Carnegie twice, and I'm def putting that on my resume
-also, I am planning on working on Chinese/ taking an internship there sometime next summer, so I guess that would be a plus. I hear Wharton's really big on the entire language/ experience thing?
AHH. help please, and thanks so so much!!!

take the summer program @ upenn, i heard it boosts ur chances like crazy.
