I just had this weird dream of attending the wedding of two CCers in real life!
It was so creepy! Yet it made me wonder: what are CCers like in real life?
I know the stereotype is that they (we? o.O) are obsessive lifeless overachievers.

And while that maybe 60 (UHEM 90) percent true... (minus the lifeless part maybe :P)

Maybe not all of us are like that.

Have any of you met a CCer in real life? Do you want to? Did you make a good friend from this forum? Enemies? Did it demoralize you or helped guide you? Maybe both?

I’m sure I’ve met CCers (it’s not like you can tell by looking), but I don’t think I live in an area with a high concentration of them.

People on here are so much more accomplished than me that (for the most part) I don’t even think of comparing my accomplishments to theirs. I do feel bad about not being as hardworking as people on here. I wish I could be obsessive/passionate/whatever, but I spend most of my time procrastinating and anymore I can’t pay attention to anything real for more than five minutes or so.

It was just that on High school thread we were discussing how 2 lovebirds were getting married and that I lived in the U.S then and everyone was going to attend at some church

o.O

Who do u think it might be? :P

and @qud, do u know any names? like any usernames of school friends??

@2200: Either kyp and CE or clementines and Repede.

I wouldn’t be opposed to meeting CCers in real life, though it would probably be really awkward. I know one girl in my grade who has a CC account, and a few others who probably lurk, if that counts.

And no, I’m definitely not a true CCer; I’m not nearly as accomplished as the majority of people on here say they are.

I didn’t know about kyp and CE, but I remember the whole clementines and Repede thing.

No, I don’t think they have accounts. But people like to link stuff from here on their Facebook walls. So they definitely know about CC… But the people on here who are from California don’t seem to be from where I live. There are a few users who sound like they live in like a neighboring city though.

You know I actually got to meet a very nice girl from here. She lives real close to me but we never met :/

It was super weird, since I am usually very paranoid when it comes to random strangers on the internet.

I mean how can you know? anyone of us maybe a lifeless child molesting 40 year old perv waiting for his next victim! looking at all of you :P

I’m not a true CCer either, but I think some of you are at least somewhat interesting so here I am.

Kyp and I hold no animosity toward each other like the love-hate (hate-hate?) relationship clementines and Repede have, but kyp can just be overly annoying (e.g., trying to find out our names, etc). I didn’t know I was potentially getting married to him though.

I don’t think there are any CCers at my school (ha), but I’m sure I’ve been near other CCers, like when I visit a college or something like that. It would be…interesting to meet someone in real life. You all don’t have faces to me really. But most of you all seem nice and more authentic than most people at my school.

Yeah, a lot of people on here seem so much better than a lot of people in my grade at my school. It would be interesting, I guess, to meet some people. idk I’ve met someone I’ve met on the Internet anonymously irl and it was kind of awkward.

Are you guys going to go back to CC once college starts? I’m deleting my account (can people delete accounts?) once I register for classes/or send in my deposit. Kind of cathartic, I suppose.

You can’t delete your account. You can get banned, but the posts will never disappear. Technically you’re here forever.

I’ll probably check in every so often in college (perhaps in the College Class of 2019 thread) but I probably won’t use CC nearly as much as I do now.
