So I was accepted to Dietrich for Pre-Information Sciences, but I am worried that my grades dropping might lead to my application getting rescinded. I will likely end the first semester with a C in AP Calculus and a D or a D+ in AP Physics. My GPA for the first semester will still be above a 3.5 weighted because I’m doing well in my other classes. I was accepted with a 3.7 weighted and a 3.3 UW. What’s the likelihood I get rescinded?
Didn’t you post that Pitt was your “backup school”?
Once you are accepted, I don’t know if there are minimum grade requirements you have to maintain.
You will need to graduate and send a final transcript.
But if you are taking AP classes related to your future major, and your grades are bad, that does not bode well for your future college success.
You still have time to get your grades up. Get a tutor and buckle down.
@mommdc Well I applied with Pitt in mind as a backup to PSU, but I am beginning to seriously consider it. Thanks for the response, I will try to get my grades up as much as I can.
