getting PTE #'s

<p>How easy is it to get a PTE # once winter quarter starts? I want to get into Astro 3 w/McLean, but it's such a popular class. :( Should I email first, or just wait till the first lecture and talk to the prof? If I get a PTE #, do I have to talk to a TA then to enroll in a specific discussion? How do discussions work with PTE #'s anyway?</p>

<p>I would email. That's what I did for one of the classes that I wanted and the prof emailed me back right away about how to get PTE numbers for her course. Can't hurt to try...</p>
