<p>My daughter has published several articles and columns for newspapers and national magazines. How can she get this across in the application? It doesn't sound like this is what most places are looking for as supplementary material--they seem to be looking for talents like music and art rather than writing. Right now she just has the articles and columns listed by title under ECs. Any ideas of more effective ways to incorporate these or do adcoms just not have time for everybody's written stuff?</p>
<p>Have a heading of "Publications" and list them there in the proper academic format (thats what you do for grad school apps at least)</p>
