So it's gotten ridiculously hard to focus on schoolwork and my grades are dropping in all five of my classes. I might be looking at a C or two (unlikely, but possible). As someone who got in with stellar grades and not so stellar test scores, am I in danger of getting rescinded?

you're fine. as long as they aren't ALL C's and you get no D's.

Thank you. That's very comforting.

I think you'd need to do something pretty drastic, like fail a class or get expelled for them to consider rescinding an acceptance. I'm sure they understand senioritis :-)

I've got the same problem as tulsadem. I know that the responses above have already addressed the issue, but I just got my report card in and I'm getting a C in all four classes. I'm sure at least two of them will end up as B's but I won't pretend the anxiety is there. Does anybody know any specifics? Any stories about someone who actually did get rescinded?

Also, all of my classes are of a level that give my weighted GPA a boost. Weighted, I'm still pulling a 3.0 but I don't know if Georgetown cares about weighted. Do that factor in at all?

It shouldn't be a major problem - unless your grades tank... 4 C's is pushing it, but I think it shouldn't be too bad, they might give you a call or write you a letter (I'm not certain of this, but have heard of it happening)... what's causing all the C's? Seniorites?

What if I get a D in AP Calc BC (I got a C last year) and the rest are As? Could I get rescinded? I probably won't get a D, but there is a slight chance. I am also in the School of Foreign Service, so it isn't like there is going to be a whole lot of math I have to take.
