I made a HUGE grammatical error in my essay that i sent off to Rice like a month ago. I checked like a thousand times and I guess my mind just filled in the correct form of the verb, but it was wrong on paper. Should I contact them and submit another corrected copy, or just pretend i didn’t notice? I also left out a word on one of my short essays for the UCs. I can’t believe I made so many mistakes, I looked over my essays soooo many times before I submitted them. Anybody have any suggestions?

not such a big deal i doubt they'll pick sum1 else over u because their spell check has a tighter net!
don't fret n let it go~!

I didn't know you can re-submit essays. Is it true they let you do that?

Anyways, don't worry about it. In the overall context of your application, it's not a big deal.

To avoid situations like this I stopped reading my essays after I submitted them.

lol, guitarshredder05, i did the SAME thing...until i had to recycle that essay and use it for another school...in which case i noticed the mistakes and currently live in agony...
