<p>Under the Gift Aid section of my ePal it says this:</p>

<p>Based on your FAFSA information you are not eligible for any gift aid. Currently we do not have information reflecting your scholarship eligibility.</p>

<p>Does this mean that I might be able to get some merit aid when they review my file? I am an out-of-state applicant with decent gpa/test scores.</p>

<p>My current ePal reads that I will have to take all $53,000 tuition in loans which is a BIT (lol) much.</p>

<p>Last year at the parent orientation the financial aid guy said that for OOS they only give up to the in-state tuition price in “free money”. He said if California kids go out of state to public universities they do the same thing.</p>
