i hope this instills confidence in you! when i posted my stats people told me i wouldn't get in, but i did. you can only take what people on here say with a grain of rice. also this year i'm taking bc calc and ap bio and i still have all As. i attended girls state like you. i doubt one thing will make or break you. i think their decision is based on an accumulation of everything and the main impression they get from the bigger pic of your app. does that make sense? buti'm not going to "chance" you bc absolutely everyone is diff and what does my opinion matter if im not the person looking at your app let alone even an admissions officer?

thank you so much! that helps and makes me happy : )

Hey I'm also an engineering applicant but not a female.

Your stats look good for engineering. I don't think AP scores are a formal factor in admissions, but I guess they're looked at. Were you extremely sick or something? Might be worth mentioning....

I'd say you have a pretty good match statwise. Penn doesn't seem to have a dearth of female engineers though, compared to some engineering schools.

you're welcome :) and if you didn't already know, getting female into engineering is a biggie, so i think in general being female helps. i'm not sure if specifically penn is looking for females as well or that helps in admissions, etc
