Scandinavian countries supposedly have the best healthcare systems (tied in with the socialist aspect), are the wealthiest, tallest, etc. They also work less than Americans lol. Scandinavians are pretty good looking, but the Italians are probably the best looking in Europe. Being half-English, I'd say that we aren't stereotypically good looking haha (and probably ranked really low among all Europeans), but we had a damned good empire.

plastic surgery is not included in universal health care. Trust me... I'm from Canada. Wealthiest as in average wealth? That doesn't mean much. The rich in Scandinavia are still poorer than the rich in America because they get so heavily taxed.

Scandinavians have no lips, bad figures on average, beastly tall, and I'm not a huge fan of the really light hair and ultra-caucasian facial features. They do have big tits, fair skin, and deep set blue eyes, though. But this stuff is obviously all preference...

Can we define short, average, tall heights for guys? Do girls care about posture? Because some 5'10" guys can come off as being 6'1 from a distance due to posture.

Does it really matter?

Anyway, I consider the 25th-75th percentile in the average range. This includes everyone from about 5'8" to about 6'.

under 5'8" - short
5'8" to 5'10" - below average
5'10" to 6' - above average
6' and up - tall

this is for white guys.

um When did I say plastic surgery was covered in healthcare? (***?) I'm just saying that the Scandinavians have got it made in pretty much every aspect. I'm just talking about society in general ranking European looks by the way. Everyone has different preferences but it seems that society admires the Scandinavian look. And again, in general society seems to rank the Italians as the best looking in Europe. I read a news article where Brits ranked each European country in order of attractiveness...apparently they ranked England as one of the lowest and I think Italy was the highest.

Yeah, I agree with Russell. 5'7" starts the highest of the short scale and 6'1" is considered tall. Not sure about the posture thing, though.

eerrrr... then whats average?

I've never noticed that. Studies have shown that both sexes prefer darker hair in their partners, on average. I think that was for Americans, but I'm not positive.

And I thought that's what you were implying by stating the health care thing. TBH their system is only good if you're poor or lower middle class and need the socialism. I'd never want to move there and lose 60% to taxes.

Ayoub, 5'10" is the average. But the average range is 5'8" to 6'. Below 5'10" being low average and above 5'10" being high average. I guess that's a better way to label those 2 intervals.

I think it's common knowledge that women prefer darker hair in men, but vice versa? It's odd because the media seems to convey the notion that most men are attracted to blonds above all others.

Nah. The study actually talked about that. It stated about how magazines are unevenly filled with blondes, but that it's due to conveying an image or something that they started in the 1970s and not due to actual attraction. Personally I prefer dark, like black hair. But I prefer fair skin.

I also found another study stating that dark hair, skin, and eyes are seen as masculine and the opposite as feminine. But no guys prefer literally white skin and hair, so the degree to which that affects attraction is debatable.

What's the average height for girls? Is it 5'4", 5'5", or in-between that? My impression of the average range is 5'2"-5'6", but a common range is 5'1"-5'9", where 5'5" is the median. Maybe there are slightly more girls below the median?

It's reported at 5'4.6" for all women... the white chicks at my school seem to average about 5'5", so that sounds about right.

being 5'8'', what do you think the height range (of girls) i'll get in college? assuming i stay that height? on average...
(im a junior about to be senior)

^ is that a dumb question? lol

and i found the dark hair study very interesting! I like brunette girls but all the guys around me fall for blondes

Wait, I thought you were 5'7". Did you grow?

Range: anything up until 5'5"-5'6"

i measured myself VERY precisely (told my doctor to) and it was 5'7.89'' so im rounding :)

ok... and how tall is the average hot girl?

lol, sorry if these questions sound...

So I guess you'd actually be 5'8" waking up. :)

I'd say the average hot girl is 5'4". Can't be too tall :)

lol! and how tall r u?

I'm actually a short guy (im Asian), about 5'4.25" midday and 5'4.5" waking up. I had an early growth at age 11 and I'm the first-born child in the family. The last time I grew was 2 months before I turned 18; I grew a half inch.

The average height for males is 5'9... not 5'11-6ft lol
