GIRLS: What is the shortest guy you would date?

People have been asking, what is the ideal height (of a man) for a girl to date?
Now I want to ask the guys... what is the ideal hieght (of a girl) for a man to date?

I don't why people are so conscious of body image, especially of other people's :)
Sometimes other people can be to quick to pass judgment on how you "supposedly" look. First of all, to the boy who started this thread, what is criterion of being short? Do you really want to be with shallow people who put your height before your heart?
And I think horsegirl1050's weight is ideal. There actually is no criterion on the ideal height, weight, etc. You are your best measure.
I used to get harassed by this guy in my class. He used to call me "stick" and "skeleton". I get peeved easily and used to spend ages thinking is there sth wrong with me? Then, I finally decided I don't care what this idiot thinks of me. Actually it took me several months to reach tht point, but you are smart people. Don't let the ideal body image portrayed by the media or your peers become your measure stick, forever trying to live up to some screwed up ideals.

You've made some good points, although I'll be honest and say that they sound a bit over-idealistic. Attraction is twofold: mental and physical. Without the physical attraction people would merely be friends, and not lovers. Everyone is shallow to some degree and to say otherwise is a lie.

As for the guy who harassed you, he probably liked you. Weird way of showing it, but true. I used to get called "alien" by a guy in elementary/middle school because I had an alien-shaped head. I also wore glasses and had "alien eyes" according to him. This guy called me every night to ask me what the homework was and he would make jokes that I sent him valentines cards. Now people spread rumors about me that I am anorexic even though I am not. What's worse is instead of saying things to my face, they spread it behind my back and I heard through my friends what they said. However, if you don't care about them, why care about what they think about you?

i'm 5'11'' i would date anyone that's not like yao ming

thank you SkyGirl :)

lol @ sleepyz

Ideal height for a girl: 5'4-5'7

135 lbs at 5'6" on a chick is definitely not heavy, but it's not thin, either. Mightynick, at 5'11" 145 lbs you're a twig; same goes to you panic at 5'7" 125 lbs. Niether of your should be judging another person's weight relative to your own.

135 lbs isn't much to lift, but it is kind of a bizarre requirement (although I think you said that you were joking anyway).

And my ideal height for a girl would be 5'3". Although I don't really care.

You like girls?

how tall are you russell?

Ayoub, I'm 5'9".

oh ok

-ignore this typing, i need it to reach the "10 words min" requirement

Absolutely not. Except a few.

Ideal height of a girl for me is 5'8" and 130 lbs.
I am 5'10" and 160 lbs.

MightyNick... BMI doesn't hold the iron hammer... on anything. It doesn't even consider gender in its calculation, never mind weight composition and the dozens of other factors. I remember being 145 back when I was 5'8" and I was skinny. When I was 5'8" 130 I was scrawny. Now I'm 175 at 5'9" and for my age that's probably pretty average... maybe a bit above. Trying to get to 190ish.

I'm not saying that 145 is malnourished or unhealthy or anything, but statistically (and in my opinion), you're pretty skinny for your height.

edit: just looked it up... I'm actually above average. MightyNick you're about 20th %ile for your height, which isn't that bad.

See, Russell and I are pretty close in weight (I'm about 168) and the same height, but he's a guy and I'm a girl so we probably look drastically different in terms of fat distribution and amount of muscle. The least I've ever weighed at this height was 148 and I was REALLY thin for my body type. I'm just kind of a big person (my hips, shoulders and ribcage are all pretty wide), so anything below about 155 and bones start sticking out all over the place. Of course, currently I could stand to lose a few pounds, (even though I'm not fat, I've got a little bit too much jiggle right now) but I really wouldn't want to be less than about 155.

Hopefully the fat dispersion is different...

Or else you might want to go on Oprah too?

whoa 168 really? I usually assume girls who are thinnish and my height will weigh less than me, I guess I was wrong. I'm 5'10'' and 140.

We have butts and boobs that you guys don't, lol...

boobs and butt, how could I forget?
