Out of 200 schools, college ******* rated Carleton the LOWEST on attractiveness of girls. Now, I'm not trying to be a shallow person or anything, but that's really not something a recently accepted male such as myself wants to hear. Can any Carleton students dispute this or at least comment on this? Or is it the sad truth that, as one guy put it, "Carleton is the college equivalent of a medieval prison when it comes to females"? I'm not saying this will have any impact on my decision to attend, I'm just kind of hoping that when I visit I'm not gonna vomit.

i'm not sure why it's censoring the name of the website, but it's
c o l l e g e p r o w l e r . c o m

Lol, come on, adumm, you know there had to be a teensy bit of shallowness in starting this thread! ;) To answer your question, I would have to say the people on campus weren't to shabby looking when I visited last October. The guys were pretty comely anyway, but I have to admit that I was paying more attention to them. I don't think the girls were too bad, though. Then again, you never know, the Class of 2009 is going to be a nice looking bunch, so that might raise the cp rating...especially if I decide to attend. J/k fake shallowness kicking in. :)

I'm sure the entire campus cannot be filled with ugly girls. Keep in mind that this is Minnesota-girls aren't going to be walking around in beach attire. I'm sure the girls at Carleton are just like the girls anywhere else...except a little more bundled up.

As a current female at Carleton, I am very amused that there is such a thing that rates the attractiveness of students at a given college. To dispel such rumors, I'm hot. I am very, very, very hot. My girl friends are extremely hot too. You see? Carleton rocks in every way.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What makes a girl attractive to you adum?

I'd say that my class (2002) was fairly physically attractive, and that the classes have gotten more physically attractive. Of course, I could be biased, as I find that being interesting and intelligent enhances one's physical attractiveness -- but that could just be me. If you're going for people whom you might find in a catalog, without context, St. Olaf is quite near, and Playboy ranks them quite favorably in the attractiveness category.

I made this post over 4 months ago...why are people responding to it now all of a sudden? Well anyways, yes of course being interesting and intelligent enhances one's attractiveness. I was smart enough not to let that website deter me from decided to go to Carleton. And from what I've seen of the '09 girls on thefacebook, there ain't nothin wrong with my class. So I stand corrected, I guess.
