Girls

How is the selection of girls at CMC, or any of the Claremont colleges for that matter?

not my only concern, just wondering. anyone?

smart girls are usuaaly ugly girls. sorry just the truth. but claremont is in cali...so im sure its just fine

what an incredibly superficial thing to say!!!! it is so NOT the truth!

what about.. smart guys are usually all nerdy and ugly with lots of pimples and wear glasses..
isnt that a bit of an unintelligent stereotyping?

lol, it's true tho.

usually

I really don't think so.
You obviously haven't come to my high school..

They're not quite on par with UCLA, but they're definitely improving. Class of '08 is much better than '07, and '07 was better than '05 and '06.

This holds pretty true for all of the 5 Cs.

The girls we met are not only pretty but bright-of course I doubt they would be interested in superficial boys, obviously you haven't visited.

hehe, you would be amazed at how many bright and uhhh 'pretty' women would be interested in a certain, superficial boy. and i have visited. i almost applied.

Well I know for a fact that I would NOT be interested in certain, superficial boys like... YOU! :) For sure..

And whether or not girls think YOU are good looking is another matter... You may not be... And then shouldn't we have something to say about unattractive boys?

hehehe...'Well I know for a fact that I would NOT be interested in certain, superficial boys like... YOU! For sure..'...oh boy, if i had a nickel for everytime i heard that...lets keep pesonal attacks to a minumum please...and your right, im really a fat 40 yr old man with no life. really. oh and for the record i was never totally serious.

lets just be honest, the original p[oster deserves that much: smart people=ugly people....just kidding just kiddiing calm down =p

rolls eyes

Class of '08 girls seem to be much more attractive than their upperclass sisters. Hopefully this trend will continue with the '09ers.

Brandon
CMC '08

what about at Scripps?

Scripps is hit-or-miss. The problem is that you have to wonder why they chose to attend an all-women school. Some are there because they intend to transfer to CMC or, (gag) Pomona. Others have had bad experiences with men, so dating them is risky.

Then there's the wildcard. One Scrippsie told me she's at Scripps because she "likes men too much," though she didn't realize Mudd, a quasi men's school, is across the street. Oops.

so what about the men...
at the CMC colleges..
how hot are they? are they hot?

and if anyone can give me their impressions on CMC colleges in general (in particular Claremont) that would be greatly appreciated.. cheers...

For anyone who attends or has a friend/ sibling who attends CMC...
A current student told me to make sure i send a nice photo with my app because the guys on the admissions committee dont think the girls are pretty enough, and it actually makes a difference in acceptance how attractive u r. This seems completely ridiculous, but i guess u never know... true?

OMG.. how ridiculous!
hhaha

ok I'll send a good photo of myself...

OHHH.. don't you guys think that the CMC essay kills? IT'S sooo annoying.. now I have to write another essay

I just finished mine at 2 am last night. It took a lot of time to research and like 5 hours to write, but in the end it's my favorite essay that i've written. im so glad i got to stop writing about myself!
