Giving two examples of the same person on the SAT Writing section...

I've been reading up on historical figures/events that I could possibly write about on the upcoming SAT, and I was wondering if on the essay I could give two examples of one particular person/event, or do the examples all have to be different?

Like for example if they were to ask something like: 'Is ambition good or bad?', could I give two examples of John D. Rockefeller and another one of someone/something else? Would points be taken off for not thinking of more examples?
