Did anyone who received their acceptance letter to American receive a rejection/acceptance to the Global Scholars Program? Did it show up on the portal under Award Letter? I’m not sure it would because you don’t get money to be in it but I don’t know.

I’m wondering as well. My acceptance letter said nothing about it.

I received an acceptance to the Global Scholars Programme! It was included within the acceptance letter

I want to know if you can check if you got into Honors or PPL. I haven’t gotten any mail and can’t find the acceptance letter online, but I got a bunch of merit scholarships, so that means I’m in.

@staticmuse1 - Congratulations on getting into Global Scholars! Can you post some basic stats?

Would love it if others who are accepted would post stats as well.

Anyone know what size of cohort they are looking for in Global Scholars?

@Hoggirl - On the AU Global Scholars page it says they have 25 people per year, but from my experiences as a student there are about 30-40. They likely have to give more admissions and then a select number of them will actually choose to enroll.

@bk4972b So, you are saying 30-40 are made offers or the cohort actually winds up being that size? Thanks for the reply!

@Hoggirl - My guess is that the cohort actually winds up being that size since AU needs to offer more admissions than 25 per year. My friend in Global Scholars says in past years and this year there are just above 30 students in Global Scholars per year.
