Anyone who is admitted into Global Scholar Program?

<p>Hi guys! I am admitted into the Global Scholar Program of American University and I could not find a lot of information about this program so far. Is there anybody who is admitted to this program as well? And it would be better if someone who has already enrolled in this program can tell me how is this program really like. </p>

<p>The reason why there probably wouldn’t be a reply on Global Scholars is because there are so few of you guys – only 25 per graduating class. <p>I have one friend who is in the program and he literally has no time because it literally is cramming a Bachelors and Masters degree in 4 years. That’s ridiculous. It’s a great opportunity for all students who were accepted into the program, but it is REALLY rigorous and you have very little room to fail compared to regular students. You have a set track to go on and you should be mentally prepared to go through it. If you have a Masters degree by the time you’re 22 (assuming you’re 18 now), I’d kill for an opportunity like that.</p>

<p>Thank you for letting me know that… Haha unfortunatelly I come from China and you know…I CAN’T USE FACEBOOK here. Only 25 people per graduating class? I remembered that AU said they had enrolled more than 50 people last year. Ok I roughly have an idea about life of students in Global Scholar Program. :slight_smile: Thank u for letting me know the stress level there…</p>

<p>Hi shiree! I was accepted, but probably won’t go :confused: I think with this program we’ll graduate with a BA in international studies in 3 years (pretty much everything I know about it is from the webpage) which is really nice.</p>

<p>It’s so cool that you’re from China! My family’s from Beijing and we’ll be visiting this summer for 3 weeks! What part of China are you from?</p>
