GLS or UCLA's Econ

It was a huge mistake I've made during the application process that my best friend really wanted to get in NYU's CAS and I myself decided to choose GLS for not competing with him. (We came from the same high school that no one in the history ever got admitted by NYU) Now he received offer from Emory and I got GLS from NYU.... Well then.

I didn't know very much about this program but I'm sure that the curriculum and concentration are completely not my cup of tea. I'm wondering if it would be possible to transfer to CAS from GLS. Actually the Core Program of LSP spends only two years in LSP and then gets into CAS. But what about GLS?

My intend field of study is Economics and Psychology double major. And I was admitted to UCLA's Pre-economics major which seems to be a better choice for me.

Would you guys decide for me? I'm willing to know more about GLS and everything :D

PS: I'm a Chinese girl and my stats is SAT 2240(CR720 W720) AP all 5 for Micro&Macro PhsicsB Psychology
